Tucson Family Wellness
About
For patients who have been in a car accident we have funding available. We bill the insurance so for these patients it is no money out of pocket. We have a full medical support team to serve.
For increasing joint movement and flexibility without pain I have lots of great skills like Myofascial Stretching and Neuromuscular Therapy.
Fear of pain is a big factor for many people, especially after a car accident. Thinking you will get hit again. Our patients quickly and gently ease their way through that fear to support on the other side.
We have been awarded a grant to do a study on the effectiveness of massage therapy for reducing opioid use for chronic pain sufferers. This is very exciting as opioids have a big negative effect on people's lives as well as chronic pain.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We have intake health history forms and like to get a clear picture of what you are want ing to get support with in your body and life. How is this challenge affecting you? We do an evaluation to see where to focus with bodywork that will show where the cause of the pain is, not just the symptoms. Then we get into treatment. Make you feel better and when we see what works show you how to do that same thing on your own everyday. If stress is a big part of the cause we can bring in processes to see where that is coming from, and how to interrupt that stress cycle from causing more pain and suffering in the body.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied Neuromuscular Therapy from a postural perspective at the Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy in Colorado Springs. I have studied The Work of Byron Katie at The School for The Work. Myofascial Stretching has been a big part of my practice and I have taught this work to hundreds of professional massage therapists in my workshops over the years.
