About

My approach custom designs a set of Estate Plan documents that meet the needs and goals of the client(s). Plans include a Will, Power of Attorney, Advanced Healthcare Directive, and may also include a child protection plan for minor children, and trusts for property, disabled adult children, and/or charitable giving.

I love working with people to make sure their families will have less frustration and less stress at a difficult time in their lives. Knowing there is a plan in place makes the transition a bit easier for all involved.

Frequently asked questions

I start with an inital comsultation to describe my philosophy of Estate Planning. This includes a discussion of what's important to the client(s). From there, I have them fill out an intake form listing all their important people and assets they want to have their plan protect. I write the Estate Plan documents and then I review them with the clients. If everything is as they would like it to be, I arrange for a Remote Notary to finalize the documents.

My law degree is from McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, CA. My undergraduate degree is in Business Administration / Marketing with a psychology focus from Seattle Pacific University.
Yes, once you have chosen what documents will be in your Estate Plan, I bill in flat rates for services so you know upfront what your estate plan will cost.
I have long found estate planning interesting, so it was natural that I gravitated towards it in law school. I worked for law firms for a few years then started my own practice.
Everything from young professionals, to married couples with kids, to people in or close to retirement. I also help parents with long term estate planning for disabled children, and end of life and estate planning for those receiving an unpleasant diagnosis.
I love getting together with other professionals to share and learn how to give better service to my clients, find volunteer opportunities, and learn how to be a better human being.
Learn all you can absorb about that area, ask the professional about their approach to their field, find out if you like them and their approach. Once you know about your options, and have a pro you like and can trust, you're ready to decide what you want.
What are your goals? What important assets need to be addressed? What are your family dynamics? Think through what you'll need in life as you age. Estate Planning is about how you live your life towards the end, too.
