I offer a person-centered approach to psychtherapy services for individuals, couples and families. My unique holistic philosophy incorporates cognitive behavioral techniques, mindfulness, yoga therapy, psychoeducation and positive psychology. I have extensive training and experience from both a physical, socio-emotional and counseling background (PhD in Sport & Exercise Psychology, MEd in Counseling & Human Development, LPC, Yoga Therapist ERYT-200, trained in mindfuness technique and experience working with performance psychology).
I love meeting clients right where they are at and helping individuals, couples and families achieve optimal emtional health and wellness. After teaching at the collegiate level full time for 12 years, I began full time work in private practice as a therapist where I have had the honor of helping clients find healing for three years.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I conduct a thorough intake evaluation where new clients can set specific goals for therapy and address any questions or concerns they have about the process. I develop a treatment plan using a variety of therpeutic techniques and interventions (CBT, DBT, mindfulness, mind-body techniques, positive psychology) that are unique for invidual client needs.
