We set appointments to work with our clients' schedules not the other way around. Our job is to bring some calm and order to the chaos that brings stress to our clients.
If a case involves litigation, we work with our clients through each step of the process and resolve the case while be fiscally responsible.
Every family has some level of chaos and stress, even mine. The most rewarding part of practicing family law is bringing some calm and order to that chaos and stress. I work with clients to review their situation and determine the best steps moving forward. Providing clients with options where they don't feel backed into a corner is also an important part of my job. Even if clients contact me after they are in that corner, I will help clients find different solutions to get in a better position.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a client reaches out via Thervo, I will respond with request for client to setup video or phone call. After initial call, the client can come into the office for a consultation to tell me more about their case and make a final decision on whether my firm is a good fit for them. If the client is ready at the initial meeting, we can sign an attorney client agreement. If the client still needs some time, the agreement can be signed electronically.
Once an agreement is signed, we determine time deadlines and setup a plan moving forward in the case.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Juris Doctor, University of Houston Law Center, Houston, Texas.
Bachelor of Arts in Humanities and Social Thought with Honors, Northwestern State Univeristy of Louisiana, Natchitoches, Louisiana.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
For legal services that allow for it such as agreed divorcees, uncontested probate, adoptions and estate planning, I charge a flat rate. The rate will be higher if a matter is more complicated.
For contested cases, I charge a deposit and will bill the client hourly for services.
I go over the attorney client agreement with each client to make sure they understand it before signing it.
