Music Therapy offered by Board Certified Music Therapy pracitioners and clinicians who also happen to be professional musicians. Talk therapy works great for those who are able to talk or desire to talk. But for those who don't want to or can't - either for a season or by lifestyle choise - music therapy works great!

Music is above and beyond speech. We work with individuals through the broken places in life (from in the womb and the birthing process of perinatal hospice, minors and their families dealing with medical conditions, PTSD, anger management, trauma and recovery, addiction recovery, pain management, stress, communication, marital concerns, motor skills, functional life skills, cardiovascular health, wellness, palliative care, depression, burn out, stroke recovery, and much more), until hospice and death and through the grief and bereavement process. We are a clinical and medical music therapy practice. We use the data your body provides (ie. heart rate, respiration rate, brainwave function, etc.), to customize a treatment plan and program just for you. Music therapy is the clinical and alternative medical intervention and therapeutic application of music and musical elements to address non-musical needs within an individual/group. We offer the therapy you need and not just the therapy you want. At Gsus we also offer and teach applied music lessons for individuals who desire to learn new, or improve existing, music skills; and we offer adaptive music lessons for individuals with special needs. We also offer music therapy-based performing ensembles through the nonprofit branch of our practice, Gsus Harmonies Nonprofit, for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Everything we do, and every service we provide, at Gsus is client-focused, goal-driven, research-based and customized for your needs. Our focus is the overall well-being of the mind, the body, and the spirit through music. All of the music therapy services offered at Gsus Music Therapy Serives & Center are conducted by board certified music therapists and certified ministers. All of the music lessons and professional music services are conducted by certified music educators and seasoned performers.
