I am Board certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Why Choose a Board Certified Lawyer?
Board Certification is a mark of excellence and a distinguished accomplishment within the Texas legal community. Clients get the highest quality of legal services when working with Board Certified lawyers — having substantial experience, the respect of their peers, and proven specialized competence in their select area of law. Out of 110,000 lawyers that are licensed to practice in Texas, only 7,400 are Board Certified.
I am a second career lawyer. Before attending law school, I spent ten years serving in the military as an attack helicopter pilot. I am a devoted husband, father, and zealous advocate in family law cases. The same integrity, honesty and dependability required to operate as an aviator, now exists to create a dynamic attorney-client relationship.
I enjoy helping real people who are experiencing one of the most difficult times in their life. Having been the calm, steady, unwavering advocate for a mom or dad when the whole world seems to be turned upside down for them, makes coming to work every day worth it. The smiles on the faces of the children who end up in a happy loving home when I am finished warm my soul.

I am a graduate of Texas Weleyan Law School where I served as an executive board member on the law review, moot court competition team, mock trial competition team, and the law clinic providing legal services to indigent residents of Tarrant County under the supervision of the lead attorney.
I am in my seventh year practicing family law in the DFW area. In that time I have handled hundreds of client's legal issues including divorce, child custody, child support, modifications, enforcement actions and countless mediations. I am an active member of the Texas Bar Association, Tarrant County Bar Association and the Texas Family Law Section. I am applying to the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 2018, requesting my spot to test for Board Certification in Family Law. I hope to update this section in early 2019 when exam results are released!
