Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It all depends on the needs and preferences of each client. Each person fills out a questionaire to let us know what it is that is currently causing pain, injury or challenges. I use dual scales to assess how imbalanced they are by weight disproration or variance. Then I know where to begin to correct imbalances and client identified issues.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
During my training at the graduate, doctoral and post doctoral levels, I earned a NMD (Doctorate in Naturopathic Health) & a Ph.D. (Medical Massage & Wellness) with 4,000 clinical hours of supervised client treatment for structural imbalances, physical and muscular issues. I specialize in helping clients identify and minimize lifestyle stress so he or she can function and feel better.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Our standard visit is $150 to $250 per initial visit to do an individualized client assessment and treatment. However, due to the China virus, Co-Vid 19 & 21, we have reduced our rate to a much lower rate as quoted in our reply.
How did you get started in this business?
I was trained originally in Eastern and Chinese traditional medicine in accupressure and Gi-Quong. After finishing my graduate and doctoral work, I was invited to lecture at a few colleges, universities and institutes on medical massage, structural integration and psychopathology. This is how I was attracted to serving clients who experience acute stress, pain or physical limitations.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with clients of all ages, sizes, shapes and physiological issues.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
It is very satisfying to me to be able to help nurses, athletes, colleagues and local business owners who have hurts, pains or great stress to live a better, more stressless life.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Find a practitioner who you like and are able to trust. Treat them well and be willing to share what pain, hurt or physical issues you are experiencing.
Tell them when the issues began, what you have done to resolve each, and the relief or healing you have had. Be honest and take an active part in following their advice.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
This depends on the needs, priorities and conditions that face each client. Follow the concerns of each client so as to give them treatment plans that are individualized, affordable and effective.
