THE FIRST CONTACT WITH A NEW CLIENT IS USUALLY BY PHONE CONTACT. AFTER DETERMINING A CLIENT'S OBJECTIVE AND THE SERIES OF ACTIONS NEEDED TO ACCOMPLISH THIS OBJECTIVE, WE USUALLY AGREE UPON A SPECIFIC AND REASONABLE LEGAL FEE FOR MY SERVICES. WE THEN USUALLY SET AN INITIAL INTAKE CONSULTATION APPOINTMENT IN MY OFFICE.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN LIBERAL ARTS FROM BOSTON UNIVERISTY WITH A MAJOR IN POLITICAL SCIENCE AND PHILOSPHY.
MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION DEGREE WITH A CONCENTRATION IN FINANCE FROM BRYANT UNIVERSITY IN RHODE ISLAND.
JURIS DOCTOR LAW DEGREE FROM VALPARAISO UNIVERSITY IN INDIANA.
I HAVE WORKED FOR SEVERAL LAW FIRMS BOTH IN MASSACHUSETTS AND IN RHODE ISLAND BEFORE STARTING MY OWN LAW PRACTICE IN 2004 IN JOHNSTON, RI 02919.

THE LEGAL SERVICES FEE I GENERALLY CHARGE MY CLIENTS FOR MY LEGAL SERVICES IS OFTEN DEPENDANT UPON THE AMOUNT AND THE COMPLEXITY OF WORK THAT IS REQUIRED TO ACCOMPLISH THEIR OBJECTIVE(S). MY FEES ARE ALWAYS REASONABLE IN RELATION TO THE VALUE AND QUALITY OF SERVICES PROVIDED.
How did you get started in this business?
I HAVE ALWAYS VIEWED THE LEGAL PROFESSION AS ONE OF HONOR AND PRESTIGE AND A WORTHWHILE WAY TO SPEND ONE'S LIFE. FURTHER I CAN GENUINELY SAY THAT I ENJOY HELPING PEOPLE RESOVLE THEIR PROBLEMS.

INDIVIDUALS AS WELL AS BUSINESSES. YOUNG AS WELL AS OLD. RICH AS WELL AS POOR. WOMEN AS WELL AS MEN. PEOPLE OF ALL RACES, CREEDS, ETHNICITIES, HERITAGES AND NATIONALITIES.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
AN ELDERLY 84-YEAR OLD WOMAN CLIENT, IN A WHEELCHAIR, WHO AS A LANDLORD WAS BEING BULLIED AND TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF BY TENANTS WHO LIVED IN ANOTHER FLOOR OF THE SAME DWELLING. BY EVICTING THOSE TENANTS ON THE TERMS MOST FAVORABLE TO MY CLIENT, I NOTICED THAT I HAD RELIEVED MY CLIENT OF A MAJOR SOURCE OF STRESS AND TURMOIL THEREBY DRASTICALLY IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF HER EXISTENCE. THIS EXPERIENCE WAS VERY REWARDING TO ME.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a company in your area of expertise?
IF YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE WORKING WITH A LAWYER AND HAVE A GOOD DEGREE OF TRUST IN HIS OR HER CAPABILITY TO DO THE JOB, THAT IS HALF THE BATTLE. NO LAWYER CAN GUARANTEE FUTURE RESULTS AND ANY ONE THAT DOES IS NOT SOMEONE I ADVISE YOU EMPLOY.
What questions should customers think through before talking to companies about their needs?
WHAT IS MY OVERALL OBJECTIVE? IS THE OBJECTIVE REALISTIC? AM I WILLING TO PAY A FAIR FEE TO ACCOMPLISH THE OBJECTIVE WITH THE UNDERSTANDING OF THE RISK OF NOT PREDICTING THE FUTURE OUTCOME.
