What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a new client engages Bilodeau Capalbo, LLC we have an intake process with the new client where we request the client to provide a timeline of events concerning their case along with supporting documentation. We request this information in advance of our meeting to discuss strategy moving forward - at that meeting we provide our client with their legal options and the likelihood of success and estimated fees and costs. After we discuss the strategy and the client provides us with authorization to move forward, then we proceed accordingly.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bilodeau Capalbo, LLC's attorneys are licensed in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Washington DC. Ryanna Capalbo focuses her practice on family law issues in RI, MA, and CT. Andrew Bilodeau focuses his practice of law on business law issues and litigation, real estate transactions and litigation, estate planning & probate. Andrew started a thriving manufacturing and service company in 1992. He operated the company until 2001 when he enrolled in law school full time. Andrew also founded several hospitality businesses in 2014 and 2015. Although he doesn't deal with the day-to-day operations, he is still an owner of the companies. In 2021, Andrew graduated and received his MBA from Northeastern University. Andrew wanted to bring more value to his clients and thought that formalized learning would give him a greater business background in addition to his hands-on experience. Andrew utilizes his broad entrepreneurial business experience to assist his corporate clients with issues that he has dealt with himself over the years in business. When Andrew is hired, the client doesn't just get a lawyer; they hire a seasoned business owner and real estate investor. Having the benefit of being in the trenches has provided Andrew with the hands-on experience most lawyers don't possess.
