Manna Counseling Services provides practical, recovery based, life applications for those who feel stuck or need coaching or counseling to move forward. Those who are struggling with addictive, life controlling issues or harmful behaviors, whether it is healing from past life experiences, or just some encouraging direction to help take the next step, Manna Counseling services can help. NO SPECIFIC RELIGIOUS OR SPIRITUAL BELIEF IS REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE, NOR WILL ANY BE FORCED UPON ANY PARTICIPANT.
Pastor Dave is a Certified Christian Life Coach and holds a BA Seminary degree in Biblical Counseling from Trinity Seminary in Newburgh Indiana. Dave has been active in twelve step (AA & Al-Anon) work for over 25 years.
Spiritual Recovery Counseling
Spiritual Recovery counseling assists an individual in finding a source of strength and power to overcome addictive behaviors that are preventing them from living the type of life that they want to live.
As such, the counselor only helps to tap into sources already at work in a person’s life, though they may be unaware of those sources. Experience is often shared as the counselor has a personal background with a variety of issues including but not limited to, addiction, sexual and relational issues, financial issues, and spiritual warfare.
Recovery Counseling seeks to restore the individual or group to the creation life and purpose through Spirit led interactive conversation. Assignments are given weekly, and a counselee’s commitment is required.
Over the years I have had the opporutnity to guide many people along the path to recovery and live reasonably happy, and productive lives regardless of the circumstances surrounding them. Having overcome many disappointments, tragedies, and heartaches myself, these experiences have actually strengthened me to be able to move from "victim" to advocate. It is the great reward for me to see others do the same by compassion and empathy.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Complimentary initial consultation to determine client needs and compatibility. Individual clients are billed at $95.00 per session. All relationship or couples sessions require an online assesment to be taken that provides a framework to explore strengths and opportunities for growth. There is a one time fee of $35.00 for the assesment that will be added to the initial cost for counseling.
Most sessions involve some type of homework or study material that involves committment on the part of the client.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My personal story is filled with life challenges that have been overcome through faith based applications and loving guidance from a wide spectrum of professional and pastoral mentors. My approach is from an empathetic position, employing Holy listening techniques and Soul Care guidance.
I received my Pastoral Counseling degree from Trinity Seminary and College of the Bible. I am an active member of A.A. and Al-Anon for over 25 years, and also hold life coaching certifications for businesses, groups, and individuals.

Sessions are billed at $95.00 per session. I do not accept insurance at this time. Though charitable donations, I am able to bill on a sliding scale and offer grants to those with limited means. Nobody should have to go without the help they need.
