Rachel R. Citak, Attorney At Law LLC
About
Law is my profession, being your advocate is my passion.
I bring a wide breadth of experiences, including lobbying and nonprofit legal counsel at the state Capitol as well as three years of focus on criminal law, prosecution, and working for the Ohio Attorney General in law school. I graduated cum laude from Xavier University as a member of the PsiCHi National Honor Society. I went on to receive my J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law.
When COVID-19 brought increased financial instability to our state, it only made sense to bring my private practice back home to SW Ohio. Families, children, and individuals facing legal issues often feel increasing anxiety and depression. I want to partner with you in alleviating and resolving the legal burdens you face. I work hard to earn my referrals to your friends and loved ones.
When I'm not at the Courthouse or in my office, you can find me engaging in equestrian sport and recreational horseback riding, shooting firearms on the range with my law school sweetheart, or serving on the Board of Contributors for Cincinnati Enquirer.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Reach out to schedule your free 30 minute consultation.** Text messaging, email, and website messages are always available. Once you sign on as a client, I can get started helping you to resolve your legal issue.
**free consultations are not available for clients seeking legal help for a divorce proceeding.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a wide breadth of experience in areas like prosecution, legal writing, public interest law, and communications which all lends itself well to my ability to personally work with you to resolve your legal concerns.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Discounts are available for veterans and active members of the armed forces, as well as law enforcement officers and first responders.
How did you get started in this business?
I was born and raised in the Queen City. My parents overcame incredible odds and built their own small business from the ground up, brick by brick-- literally and figuratively. So hanging my own shingle in my hometown comes naturally to me.
What types of customers have you worked with?
My clients come from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds and walks of life. I treat each client and potential client as an individual. I'm here to help you, not disparage or judge you.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Seeing the relief that clients experience just knowing that their attorney is present to help walk with them through some of the most frustrating, confusing, and scary parts of navigating the legal system... that is my favorite part of this work.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
The courtroom, legal system, and trial process is really nothing like what you see on t.v.--and your lawyer doesn't have to be either. Choose someone who you feel will be an honest advisor and advocate for your personal needs and goals, not someone who will bully you into decisions for the sake of their financial gain or reputation.
