What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We provide potential clients with a half hour free consultation.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Graduated Law School in 1989, admitted to practice in every court in NY and US Supreme Court, take continuing education every year.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We take a Retainer upfront that is charged against our hourly rates. Hourly rates range from $550-300 per hour for our attorneys, depending on experience of the attorney.
How did you get started in this business?
After 12 years working in mid- size firm in NYC I opened up my own firm.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Various. We represent men and women in their divorce action. Most are professionals and:or business owners.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Do your research before retaining an attorney. There are thousands of lawyers and while most are really good and know what they are doing, there are some that really don’t know the law, don’t care about the outcome or the clients or simply are lazy. Talk to your lawyer. Ask questions- hard questions. There are no guarantees on outcomes of cases but attorneys with experience can layout the process and strategy.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Do I really want to go down this road. Can I mediate rather than litigate - mediation much more cost effective, less aggressive, more amicable.
