About this pro

The client almost always obtains a satisfactory outcome in my cases.  That's because you are retaining a lawyer with nearly 30 years of experience, both in and out of the courtroom.

Advocating for the client and awinning.  That makes it all worthwhile.

I was referred to Tom Lancia by my cousin who spoke very highly of him. I recently hired Mr. Lancia when I was leaving my employment and he provided great guidance. Tom is compassionate, yet realistic and has no problem taking on the big law firms. I recommend him highly.

“Tom did a great job selecting the best forum for the case. He is knowledgeable about employment law and spent a lot of time shepherding the case through the process and getting me a good result."

Tom Lancia exceeded my expectations. He was thorough, prompt, knowledgeable, tenacious, and reasonable. I can not recommend him highly enough!

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Most impoprtant is an extensive discussion to see if I can meet a client's needs.  Then we would plot a strategy to make the client's wishes a reality.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Fordham Law School, National Employment Law Association (both New York and National Chapters), thousands of hours providing employment advice to clients and prospective clients, as well as other lawyers.  I have trained nearly a dozen young lawyers over my career.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

For employment cases I genreally charge a modest fee for expenses (if necessary) and my fee comes from a court award or a fee taken out of any settlement.
