I do intellectual property law, patents,trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. I have over 30 years of experience and take a personal interest in my client’s success.
I enjoy learning about the science and technology involved in patent work and I also enjoy working with inventors and scientists in helping them to protect their inventions and deal with licenses and possible disputes. I have done a lot of litigation and can handle both plaintiffs and defendants.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have a brief telephone conference then ask for an engagement letter and a retainer to cover estimated fees and costs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taught intellectual property law at NYU Stern School of Business and Columbia Business School. I have taught advanced patent practice courses at the Practicing Law Institute in New York.

I charge an hourly fee and fixed fees for certain tasks such as preparing and filing trademark applications.
How did you get started in this business?
I majored in Chemistry and Biochemistry in college and started practicing intellectual property law immediately upon graduation.
