Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I normally would have a 10 minute telephone conversation in which I will ask them questions about their business and why you are seeking out my Professional services. I would then explain how I work and what is expect of myself as a professional and what would be expected of you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an accountant with over 30 years of experience. I am a Certified QB Pro Advisor and I am an IRS Enrolled Agent which presents a high level of tax knowledge. I would be able to respresent you before the IRS and ANY state regarding tax notices and or setting up a Installment Plan or Offer in Compromise
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Unlike most accountants they work on an Hourly basis and somehow the fees are always higher than a client anticipates. I work on a Flat Fee since the services I offer are Value Added Services. I always provide an Engagement Letter which provides the services I offer and the fee associated with it. I partner with the client so they know what they are paying for. I always want the client involved in the decision making process but at the same time i need full cooperation of the client so we can be bothe effective and efficient
How did you get started in this business?
I saw a need to help clients when I found that someone recommneded me to a dear friend who could not sleep at night thinking that the IRS was going to take their house right from under their noses. I thought that if i could get involved and put the burden on myself and continue to work with the IRS and State (s) it would relieve the person to know that there is someone fighting for them as hard as possible
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have come across many people who have tried to handle their IRS situation themselves (or with their current CPA or person who prepared their taxes) but didn’t receive the relief they were seeking. The professionals on our staff know the “ins and outs” of the tax system and can negotiate a personalized solution for you.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I had a client that receive a notice that they owed $32K that included interest and penalties for non payment and non filing. I amended their tax return and was able to eliminate most of the tax liabilty and the client ended up owing $3000
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
That there are alot of companies out there that will promise you the world and not deliver.
My Firm will be a straight shooter and will tell you what the potential solution and work hard to accomplish this goal

How will the professional keep you information about your case?
You want to be comfortable with the frequency of communications you will receive from the professional handling your case. You also want to make sure that you will receive all copies of all communication between the professional and the IRS.
