We identify the client's goals and expectations and provide a roadmap on how we will move forward to achieve that goal.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All attorneys have a J.D. degree in law. In addition, Karen Ulmer has an advanced law Degree in Securities Regulation and Certification in Mediation.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We generally require a retainer and charge hourly for the work we do, however, in same cases we do a flat fee.
How did you get started in this business?
I graduated law school as a single mother and decided to start my own firm when my daughter started school so that I could be more flexible with my time and balance my work and parenting roles. I also was in a position where I could relate well to the needs of my clients, many of whom are divorcing or going through child custody matters.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with clients who want to relocate out of the state or country with their children or who seek to establish a custody schedule. I have worked with clients who are divorcing and have business.
