Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, we meet with the client for an initial strategy session. During that session, we review the facts of the case and determine the client’s immediate needs and discuss how to achieve the client’s ultimate goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been admitted to the New Jersey Bar for 36 years and have extensive experience in all aspects of family law, employment litigation, real estate, and wills and estates.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
The attorney's hourly rate is $250 per hour for most legal services. We do handle some cases on a flat fee or contingency basis. Our fee structure will be explained in detail within our retainer.
How did you get started in this business?
We are a private legal firm which was founded in 1990 to provide services to our clients.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We work primarily with individuals and small businesses.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We are actively involved in prison ministry through the Archdiocese of Newark and also volunteer at a horse rescue. For the past 20 years we have been volunteers in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade balloon fight management program. Estelle has captained many balloons and has motivated many balloon handlers through the streets of New York.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
It is most important that you speak to your attorney before you take any action in your matter.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Because of the complexity of the laws, it is not so much the client’s job to determine the legal options available, but rather the attorney’s job to provide the legal options available. This is why our initial strategy session is extensive and typically is at least an hour long. We do ask that the client bring all relevant paperwork in their possession to the initial session so that the attorney can best advise the client.
