About
You know how getting a lawyer sucks? You pay this huge retainer and dude is like "imma charge you $400 an hour" and you're over there like "my retainer is going to be gone pretty fast isn't it?" Yeah, we don't do that.
We try to work with our clients to go beyond the usual retainer + big hourly rate deal. We do limited engagement plans and flat fees on most of cases. We also work with several financing companies to help you pay for your legal needs. This give our clients flexibility and predictability so you can budget accordingly.
Yes, occasionally a case will come in that is so complex that it can only done with a retainer and hourly rate but we use transparency and technology to ensure you are NEVER overcharged. Not by us not by our paralegals. We do not pad our bills EVER! Because I'm a great guy? Nah, because I was a client once too and I know it sucks to get cheated by the one person you should trust the most. Your attorney. I'm on your team.
The sigh of relief and that calm that comes over a clients face when they know it's all going to be OK. When you realize just how important your job is to people. I live for that moment. ❤️
That, and the money. Getting paid is pretty good too.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get as much detailed info as possible up front and get a big picture understanding. Then I want to know what you want. What do you hope to achieve? Then I work towards that goal like a honey badger. Like a tornado of legal fists and teeth and fingernails.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My education was the STREETS! 💪 But seriously....they kinda were my education. I was raised in New York City and worked in NYC real estate and construction for years. I later became a busienss and real estate consultant. After 2 kids, several businesses under my belt, and having adulted for years, I decided it was time to take on 3 brutal years of law school and a two day long test that comes close to killing you. Just for fun. Shortly after passing the bar I was involved in a number of high-profile criminal defense cases and worked a number of civil rights cases as well. I still do a lot of pro bono work in the area of civil liberties and Constitutional Law.
I've also used my business and real estate savvy as well as my entrepreneurial drive to build a modern law firm. No stuffed shirts. No big retainers. I'm bringing legal to the 21st century. I'm also bringing sexy back if I have time.
