About

Often times a legal matter is not the problem but the symptom of a problem. My law office focuses on family law issues such as divorce, child custody, parenting time, domestic violence allegations, prenuptial agreements and much more. I also handle criminal matters, personal injury matters, municipal court case, debt collection and consumer fraud actions. Your consultation is free but the advice you will receive may change your life.

I enjoy championing the underdog and I fight extremely hard for my clients. I do not press for unfair advantages but I make sure my client is protected from them as well. My goal is a resolution that is fair that also protects the child from the strife and emotional trauma of a divorce. I spend a great deal of time with my clients to help them put things in perspective. I am not merely dealing with a divorce, I am dealing with lives in turmoil. I value my ability to calm the waters and free litigants from the negative emotions and spite that invariably pollute the children and doom them to having dysfunctional relationships.

Scott Kelly is the best attorney there is. He took my case to heart, and fought with everything in him for my kids. He was full steam ahead to the defendant in my case and excelled beyond excellence to bring justice to my kids. If you need an attorney that will treat your case as his own, this is him. I cannot say enough about the justice he brought to us. He is so kind, but in court, I am thankful he was on MY side.

    Frequently asked questions

The process starts with an appointment where the client discusses his/her issues and the strategies for improving their situation.  If the client likes my advice, the process starts with the client signing a Retainer Agreement and paying the retainer.

I have a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Arkansas School of Law in Little Rock.  I have tried many divorce cases, restraining order cases, child custody, reunification and even parental kidnapping matters.  My office also handles all manner of municipal court matters, personal injury cases and criminal cases.

My hourly fee is $350.00 per hour.  I get a great deal done in an hour's time. I pride myself on being exceptionally cost affective for my client's and it is difficult to find a better result at a cheaper price.

Attorneys are in business to make money.  Make sure the attorney you choose is more interested in accomplishing your goals than planning his/her next trip to Hawaii.  Have your goals clearly in mind; if you give your attorney a hammer, he/she will go looking for a nail.  Know what you are after and give the attorney all information you have at your disposal so that he/she does not go off in the wrong or incomplete direction.  Also, follow the advice of your counsel and the rules of the office.  The easier you are to work with, the harder people want to work for you.

Think about the legal issue you are having.  Now think about it with ZERO emotion.  Does your perspective change?  Before talking to an attorney, divorce yourself from the passion of the situation.  The more emotional you are, the more money you are going to spend.  Discuss everything with your attorney and consider his/her feedback carefully.  If the attorney immediately buys into your lust to punish the other side, that is probably going to come with a hefty price tag.
