Dolores L. Aretsky is a partner and co-founder of the Aretsky Law Group, P.C., a statewide New Jersey family law and divorce law firm with meeting locations in most counties. With over 30 years of experience as a New Jersey divorce and family law attorney, she has assisted her clients in securing their future after a divorce.
Ms. Aretsky was admitted to practice in New Jersey in 1988 after earning her Juris Doctorate degree from Pace University School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts degree from Hunter College of the City University of New York. She was also selected to be a member of the Justice Morris Pashman Inns of Court and the Barry Croland Family Law Inns of Court. Ms. Aretsky is a member of the Bergen County Bar Association. Ms. Aretsky represents clients in connection with divorce, divorce mediation, other family law matters.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Clients are encouraged to call me personally at 800-537-4154 to discuss their divorce and family law matters. During the initial consultation, I will discuss the issues in their case, educate them on the applicable laws and strategize to obtain the best outcome possible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Having completed the 40 hour training program offered by the Board on Continuing Legal Education, Dolores Aretsky is a Court Approved Divorce & Family Law Mediator. As such, she is listed on the Roster of Mediators for Economic Aspects of Family Law Cases in Bergen County and has assisted many couples reach an amicable agreement. Ms. Aretsky will mediate in Bergen, Passaic, Hudson, and Morris counties.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We require a retainer fee and billing is hourly. The retainer fee and houlry rate are based upon the complexity of the matter and the attorney assigend to your file from our office. We do accept most major credit cards if that assists you. Counsel fees may be an issue in your case.
How did you get started in this business?
I always wanted to help families in crisis. I went to law school after obtaining a Masters in Communications and having worked in television at Channel 5 in New york.

I work with clients dealing with divorce, custody, child relocation, parental alienation, alimony, mediation, domestic violence restraining orders and high net worth matters.
