I have known and used Mr. Paul for many years with various situations. When I was going through several of my toughest problems, Mr. Paul helped me get a fresh start. His fees were reasonable and he always explained everything in a way that I could understand since I have no legal background. Ive sent many of my friends to Mr. Paul when they needed help and they thanked me for Mr. Pauls name. I really like how sharp he is and how he thinks, he know his business!

Frequently asked questions

We like to meet our new clients in person to get acquanted and better understand their legal concerns and to provide options to accomplish a client's goals and objectives.

Edward Paul graduated from Rutgers School of Law in 1989, and has been admitted to both the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Bars, as well as to the United States Supreme Court, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and U.S. District Courts and Bankruptcy Court for New Jersey and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He was the Managing Attorney for Rutgers Bankruptcy, a pro bono project that provides Chapter 7 Bankruptcy representation to indigent clients in South Jersey, from 2004 to 2015. Edward Paul has experience as a mediator and served as an adjunct professor at Burlington County College. He also discussed consumer mortgage foreclosure on the TV program Legal Line.  He also currently serves on the Waterford Township Environmental Commission and Waterford Township Planning Board.

On some types of matters we can offer a flat fee or minimum earned retainer so you do not have any additional fees in most cases.

Otherwise, like most attorneys we bill on an hourly basis.  Our rates are competitive and we use paralegals here possible to reduce your overall fee on hourly matters.

I saw my parents struggle with legal problems and the lawyers that helped them and other attorneys that could have given them better advice.   I decided that I wanted to help people in similar situations so that they could move past their legal problems and and in some cases get a fresh start to re-build their lives

We represent individuals, companies, trustees in bankruptcy and government agencies.

Our firm won a case for a client and friend against a person in a land sale that defaulted on a purchase and then filed a baseless lawsuit to try to stop the property from being sold to anyone else.  I now have the pleasure of representing a bankruptcy trustee a few years later selling property in a bankruptcy case owned by a company controlled by the same person.

Look for experience and qualifications first.  Often law firms or attorneys will offer a lower fee by reducing the level of service you will receive.  We know our clients and their issues because we do not take a high volume of cases.  Efficiency  through volume does not always translate into a very personal experience for a client.  Make sure you can speak to an atttorney throughout the process.
