I have been in the field of helping youth and families for over 20 years. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor for over 11 years and have been in Private Practice for two years. I just created Uplift and Inspire to ensure quality mental health services and I want to see the whole family prosper. i enjoy helping g people and want to see people living a happy, healthy life. I have been trained in Trauma Focused therapy for adults and Children. I have a certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. When I work with children. I make sure they feel comfortable and will use play and other expressive techniques to help with expressiion of feelings and to teach skills so they are better able to regulate their emotions. With teens and adults. I help establish a comfortable environment so that you are able to feel comfortable to talk about anything and you are able to meet the goals that you have set in therapy.
I enjoy helping people and watching people make changes. I enjoy when people are able to learn skills and be able to make good decisions on their own.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Client will call to set appointment and provide necessary information. Therapist will meet with them typically for 45-60 minutes to get an assessment and client will be able to set goals with therapist

i take most major insurances
Individual is 100:hr
Families and Couples are 120:hr
How did you get started in this business?
I always wanted to work helping people. When I began in the social service field, I was working with juveniles. I then wanted to help them in a more proactive way so that they don’t end up in Jail or In Juvenile so I began to take up Counseling.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with all ages beginning from 5 and up. I worked with those that have suffered from trauma. Anxiety. Depression. Mood disorders, divorce issues, life transitions issues and more
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I just recently open my own private practice and I am serving in two locations one in Olivette and one in Lake Saint Louis.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would tell them to do their research and choose the one the therapist they feel most comfortable with
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What specialties do the serve. what insurance do they take. How quick can they get an appointment and what days and hours do they work.
