About

I want to empower you to find your strengths and bring them to light. I know when our relationships are not good it can affect other areas of our life such as work, school, or home life.

I have experience working with people struggling in their relationships, anxiety, self-esteem/confidence, going through a divorce, stress management, and emotional abuse. I am trained in EMDR which becomes a useful tool to explore your past in a safe way.

I truly enjoy being a part of the healing process. In therapy, I get to watch people overcome obstacles and grow personally. It makes me so happy to help people out of their dark times and aid in the transformation to a better version of themselves.

    Frequently asked questions

I first want to make sure we are a good fit with a 15-minute phone consultation. If we feel we are a good fit I will then we will schedule our first appointment. In our first appointment, we discuss things like what you would like to work on, how often you want to be seen, etc. From there we go where you lead. You decided what you get out of therapy by what you bring to it.

I am trained in EMDR, EFT, DBT and have a master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have worked as a caseworker with a caseload of high medical and mental needs. I also have to experience working in addictions.

$110 for individuals and $130 for couples

Right after grad school, I jumped right in. I was very eager and excited to start my own private practice.

I have worked with people who experience relationship problems, divorce, breakups, depression, anxiety, stress, job dissatisfaction, trauma, grief, addiction, borderline personality disorder, and some who seek therapy just for self-care practices.

It is okay to shop around. I always suggest clients try counseling for 3-6 sessions before they decided if their therapist is not the right fit. It is okay to ask us for a referral out. Good counselors will be more than happy to find someone who fits your needs and they probably know themselves that it is not working.

1)What do you want to accomplish with your sessions? Is there a specific issue in mind or just for overall better mental health.

    2) What is your availability? Are you able to come to counseling during the day? Evenings? Weekends?

3)If they would like to use their insurance or not. I encourage you to call your insurance to find out if counseling is covered, what your deductible and co-pay is, and how many sessions are covered. Most people don't know that you are only covered for x amount of session, which can cause you to be out of a therapist before your issue is resolved. Most people are also not aware when using insurance you are required to be diagnosed which stays on your permanent record.

    4) What is your budget? Can you come once a week or every other week? How much are you comfortable paying?
