I enjoy helping clients find resolutions to their legal challenges. The initial interview is very important for me to learn the facts and from those to analyze and to explain legal, and equitable relief that may be available. This usually reduces the client's anxiety, frequently a result of fear of the unkown. It is my goal to learn enough to determine the client's options, potential resolutions, and estimate expense that may be expected. With fear overcome many clients become eager to assist in their matter resulting in a greater prospect to provide a result that is satisfying for the client.
Trials, when necessary or desirable, are the most enjoyable aspect of practice in cases that for whatever reason cannot be settled. What is even more enjoyable is getting a problem resolved as early as possible by way of a settlement the client likes.
The most satisfying aspect of law practice is earning the appreciation of a client for a job well done.
I have been in litigation and trial practice in Missouri for 35 years.
