What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

If you are ready to get started, you can head to our website at and click on the "Get Started" Button to schedule a 15 minute FREE phone call with the office so we can get to know you and see if we might be a good fit to help you obtain the result you are wanting.  For most cases, you will also be able to schedule a FREE 30 minute consultation with the attorney.  We want to make sure you know information about our office, the basics of how your case would work, and other information that will help get you ready for your appointment with the attorney.  Again, all this will be FREE to you.  We also have a FREE Ebook on how to hire the Right Attorney for you on our website.  From the moment we hear from you, we will work hard to make sure you feel comfortable, receive a ton of value for your money, and give you the best representation possible.  We want you to love our firm and give us a 5 Star Rating so you can be sure that we will be more than attentive to your needs.  Our goal is to treat you like friends or family!  We can't wait to meet you.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Our attorney has been licensed since 1993 so she has tons of experience.  Further, she is trained in mediation (traditional and transformative) so she has her superpower to help you avoid trial if possible.  We have worked hard at our procedure to make sure that you have the best legal assistance possible including having an amazing Paralegal to help you along the way.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

If you are interested about pricing, you can learn more in our FREE Ebook on the Secrets to Hiring the Right Attorney.  In the Ebook it talks about fee structures.  Many cases we handle are flat fee or with Limited Scope Representation if this is all you need.  Most of our cases for family law are hourly, but we have all options available.  The fee is all about WHAT YOU NEED AND CAN AFFORD.  If your case is complicated or you have a good deal of assets, your fee will be higher.  This is pretty normal don't you think?  We do have many cases that unfortunately have a high level of conflict in Co-Parenting or may have maintenance that needs to be paid which means their fee will be much higher.  No matter the size of your case, we can provide you with the level of representation which will provide you with the best result possible and still give you amazing VALUE for your money.  Call and schedule a call and we can give you a better idea of what your fee might be based on your needs.

How did you get started in this business?

My grandfather was an attorney.  He always wanted to have one if his children follow in his footsteps.  My dad tried law school, but it was not for him.  I loved that my grandfather was able to help people.  He even became a Judge.  Check our my You Tube Channel at Law In Kansas City for a video what talks more about me and our law firm.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with all kinds of customers from small cases where the Parties don't have much of anything to Parties that have significant assets.  The cases might be a family law case, bankruptcy, estate planning, or probate case.  I have had tons of traffic cases with younger people and peopl who were super naughty and going very fast.  I am looking for a client who wants to have good representation, works with our office and someone we can reach, treats my staff with respect, and is interested in having someone treat them like a friend.  If you want a stuffy big firm, we are not the right firm for you.  My goal is to help my if I think I can help you, you are the right fit for me.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Some of my favorite cases are high conflict divorce or child custody cases.  I know how much emotional turmoil my client is going through and I want to be more than just an attorney who cares about the final outcome.  When we are able to go beyond our role as an attorney to meet the needs of our client, I feel amazing about our firm!

Another thing that I love is Guardinanships for disabled children turning 18.  It is great to help their parents get all the legal stuff done so they can continue to take great care of their children.

Some of my traffic clients are repeat business... shhhh don't let the prosecutor know.  We have so much fun giving our clients a hard time and then finishing their case super fast!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Again, you will find out my Secrets in our Free EBook.  Spoiler alert... it is having a good Paralegal to work with your awesome attorney.

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

We answer this in our Ebook and we are working on expanding our FAQs on our website.

I have new Ebooks coming out for each of our areas of practice.  Be sure to keep a look out for these new resources.
