Cabot Psychological Services, PLLC
About
Therapy in a comfortable, welcoming environment.
Good health involves a lot more than eating well and exercising. The way we think and behave affects every aspect of our lives, and our goal is to maximize people’s health by focusing on the mind—a very powerful tool. We help people use their own strengths to help them overcome difficult situations and emotions.
Our goal at Cabot Psychological Services is to streamline and simplify the process of scheduling your appointment so you can focus on the therapy itself. If this sounds appealing to you, please contact us today to get started.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a new client reaches out to Cabot, Dr. Amanda Mulfinger communicates with them to help them find the best fit of the available clinicians at Cabot. Usually somebody can get them in within a week, and they are able to do all the necessary paperwork online before they come in to their first appointment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Dr. Mulfinger holds a doctorate in Clinical Psychology. The other clinicians all have advanced degrees and are fully licensed as either LICSW's (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers), LPCC's (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors), LP's (Licensed Psychologists), or LMFT's (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists).
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Rates are fully determined by insurance coverage, and we are in network with almost all major insurance companies (except the Medica/UnitedHealthcare/Optum system).
