Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Let's arrange a convenient time to meet, discuss your case and review any documents. We can then finalize a price and I can begin work. I can generally meet within 24 hours and file initial paperwork on the day I am retrained. Even if your court case is up tomorrow, I can usually help.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a law degree from Wayne State University.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I charge competitive flat fees for most criminal cases and hourly or contingent fees on civil cases.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All sorts! I have had clients of every age, race, ethnicity, educational background, social status, you name it!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A client was charged with a 20 felony for possession of a significant amount of cocaine. I got him a reduced charge and a fine only. No jail, no probation. Don't count on getting that deal...
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
You have to feel comfortable with your lawyer. If you don't like it trust him, move on...
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What is my ultimate goal? What are the best and worst outcomes? Are my expectations reasonable?
