Kenneth Demers has been admitted in the Eastern District of Michigan as well as in the Western District of Michigan Federal Courts and has assisted individuals and families from Port Huron, Michigan to Grand Rapids, Michigan. Kenneth Demers actively practices Consumer Law including Probate & Estate Planning, Bankruptcy Law, Tax Planning as well as in all facets of Real Estate Law. Kenneth Demers began 6 Lakes Legal Services in order to provide clients greater access to the legal system by offering five different locations in and around the Metropolitan Detroit area.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We offer a complimentary initial consultation to answer all questions. If we can help the client is requested to complete the retention process where the appropriate level of service is determined.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a contributing member of both the National Association of Bankruptcy Attorneys and Consumer Law Center. I also attend annual symposiums and workshops to gain insight into coming trends in the law.

We have a special place in our hearts for veterans and those on a fixed income. Our fees are in line with practitioners of similar experience such as ours
How did you get started in this business?
I began my practice working for Wayne County Neighborhood Legal Service and on from there to found my own practice in consumer law.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We helped an elderly client who was harnessed by a creditor who refused to forgive and wanted the client's last cent. The creditor was relegated to no recovery and the needy elderly client is happy in her retirement.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
A good attorney is seldom cheap and a cheap attorney is seldom good.
