I am an experienced tax, securities, and business attorney. I have a law degree from Harvard and a Master of Laws from Georgetown and I have litigated civil matters in many different legal areas for several decades. I pride myself in personalized service for all clients, whether for individuals with a smaller problem or public companies with a bigger problem.
I particularly enjoy helping people who are having a difficult time, whether in a tax matter or a business matter. I am a problem solver, not an attorney who just bills hours to make money. I like the people part of practicing law and helping companies or individuals deal with an issue and go on with their lives.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I talk with a potential client by phone, review the documents that they send me, and then decide whether or not I can assist them in their matter. If so, I describe my services and my rates and then send them an engagement agreement. We may or may not have an initial meeting as we begin the engagement.
