About

When I make an appointment with a new potential client, I set the time for 45 minutes that is free of fees. If the issue is complcated I will extend the meeting or book another "interview" discussion. I encourage questions from the "client" and try to relieve any anxiety the person(s) has.

If I am not the right person for the case, I will call another attorney who can help the person sitting in my office - and often the other attorney and I will work on the case.

IMPORTANT: Unlike many lawyers, I know my limits so I take only the cases in which I can help, not hinder, resolving the problem(s).

I truly enjoy helping people and I love the law. My background is unusual but broad: I grew up in an auto salvage business, went to college, worked for Ford, Army National Guard, college, law school, banking for 20 years and have been in my law practice for 27 years.

The legal issue is easy - the worry or elation the potential client has is the difficult part of the process. But, with my training in Counseling and having an unusual upbringing I instill confidence in "my client".
