About
My philosophy is that I partner with my clients to craft the optimal resolution of any legal issue. Communication is regular and ongoing. I send clients copies of pleadings before I file them, so a client can give me input. I am very accessible and keep my clients informed every step of the way. Every case and every client is different. The goal of one client may not be the same as that of another. I give all clients my personal attention and expertise.
I enjoy helping people move on to a better place in their lives if I am representing them in a divorce or other family law matter. I enjoy giving people peace of mind if I am working with them on an estate plan.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We invite new clients to come in and meet with the attorney so that they can be assured that they are comfortable with their representation, give a full and complete explanation of all issues and concerns, and receive some initial feedback regarding their case.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Boston University School of Law in 1984 and was trained as a mediator in 2004. I have extensive experience in all areas of family law, estate planning, probate, business law, and real estate. This is especially beneficial to clients because issues in these areas overlap. For example, a divorcing couple may own real estate and have to determine if it should be sold, or not, and the ramifiations of a sale on the divorce. A business may own real estate as well. Everyone needs estate planning, whether it is a simple will, or a trust. Businesses need to be addressed in an estate plan, and an estate plan should be done when someone is divorced.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Cases are taken on an hourly fee, flat fee, or contingent fee, depending upon the nature of the case. Fees are discussed at the initial meeting.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with individuals, families and groups, depending upon the type of legal matter. I am most pleased to note that I have several members of extended families for which I have worked on wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care proxies, divorce litigation and mediation, and creation of LLC's.
