About

Many people disconnect from themselves and others when they experience difficult situations, relationship problems, or emotions they feel no one else will understand. This disconnection can lead to depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, loneliness, other negative feelings and unhealthy behaviors. I can help you work through those issues that caused this disconnect and empower you to make those changes to meet your goals in life. I want to help you reconnect to yourself, then reconnect to others important to you. I currently work for a Community Mental Health Center with adults in the dual diagnosis outpatient setting, running group and individual therapy. I have over 3 years' experience helping people struggling with addiction, depression, anxiety, past trauma, and relationship problems. I use a variety of treatment methods, tailored to fit your specific needs. I am a licensed clinicial social worker (IN License # 34008270A)

I love getting to know people and connecting with them to find out their life goals. I want to help them figure out how to overcome those barriers (substance abuse, depression, anxiety, life changes, relationships) that keep people from achieving their goals. I have passion helping persons who have been harmed by the ex-gay movement, reparitive, and conversion therapies. I created my own foundation Unbroken Ministries to help this particularly group of people. Frequently asked questions

I offer a free 15-minute phone call with each new client to see if this will be a good fit.  After that initial phone call, clients will schedule an intake appointment. I will complete a biopscyhosocial assessment, identify goals client wants to achieve, then help them develop a step-by-step plan to achieve their results.  After the intake, I will meet my clients for weekly individual therapy sessions (45-50min).  Periodically we will reivew their pogress towards goals and make modifications as we go along.

I earned a Master of Social Work degree then spent the past 3 years working for a Community Mental Health Center in the adult dual diagnosic clinic.  I have experience doing assessments (intakes), facilitating group therapy, individual therapy, family/couple therapy, and treatment planning.

I charge $125 for the in-person intake appointment.  This session typically runs longer (60-75min) to gather the biopsychosocial information, identify problem behaviors and goal-setting, design treatment planning, completing additional paperwork for confidentialy, office policies, financial arrangements, and any related assessments.

For subsequent individual therapy sessions I charge $80 for a 45-50 min session.  I charge $125 for family/couple therapy and those sessions typically last 75 minutes.

This is a new adventure for me! I have several colleagues who started private practice in the past couple years. I am ready to branch out from Community Mental Health and provide individualized treatment at my own practice.

I work with people who suffer from anxiety, depression, grief/loss, relationship problems, trauma, and substance abuse. I also specialize in helping those harmed by conversion therapy.
