I absolutely love seeing people's lives transformed. They come in my office one way and leave a totally different way. Some of the many ways they leave are empowered, decisive, assertive, confident, in love, assured, accepting, loving, kind and most importantly knowing they are worthy of love and they are good enough just as they are today.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Getting to know my clients and their goals for our time together are my main priorities when I first meet a client. Next, it is my goal to "stop the bleeding." By that I mean addressing one thing that gives the client immediate relief. Thereafter, we resolve each issue, until they are resolved to the client's satisfaction.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Master of Arts Marriage and Family Therapy (MAMFT)
Master of Divinity (MDIV)
Master of Business Administration (MBA)

How did you get started in this business?
I was called to this industry through ministry. The seminary I attended provided both divinity and counseling degrees. I was called to the seminary for ministry and now my ministry is counseling. In the words of Ken Hardy, I "transform the world 50 minutes at a time." I take this calling very seriously, as I see people and their lives totally transformed before my very eyes and I consider it a privilege to bear witness to the process.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I routinely work with distressed couples, people with anxiety and depression, the LBTQ community, and people who have experienced serious trauma.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I had a client who was so satisfied with my services she exclaimed, "I'll tell the world you saved my marriage! You saved my life!" This gives me great satisfaction as this couple was on the verge of divorce when they entered my office. There is nothing more satisfying than to see a couple fall in love with each other all over again and knowing I helped that become a reality.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
It is important to find a licensed therapist, first and foremost. Secondly, it is just as important to find someone who specializes in the area in which you need support. Finally, the most important indicator of success in your therapy will be your relationship with your therapist. The more comfortable you feel with your therapist and the more you feel like they get you and understand you, the more likely your therapy will be successful.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
I think it is important for the client to know what they want to address in therapy and find a licensed therapist who is trained in that particular area. I think it is important that clients consider how they will pay for treatment so it does not impede the client's ability to continue treatment. I believe it is also important for the client to know the ideal days and times and location of a therapist that is conducive to them maintaining appointments on a regular basis to ensure the best outcome of therapy.
