I was shocked that Mr. Renzetti is the owner of the firm - he was so approachable and responsive ! I hired him on a referral from my sister - Reno handled my case like he was advising a family member - plus I noticed that opposing council and the judge really respected him. Mr. Renzetti only practices Family Law so he is literally an expert! I had no idea where to turn- start or expect when I was served with divorce papers but the staff and Mr. Renzetti were AMAZING and made me feel heard and informed - I am about to finalize my case and am no longer fearing my life post divorce. I am glad my sister referred me to him and I’ve already referred him to several friends in need- you can’t go wrong having Mr. Renzetti representing you!

I just finished my case with Mr. Renzetti and was so thankful for the successful and prompt judgment. I found him here on Thervo after having a really bad experience with a big name attorney. Mr. Renzetti made my change in representation seamless and worked tirelessly on my behalf. Not only did he regain and expand my parenting time he sat with me and explained - in my terms- what everything meant. As a father and a man on the other side of a custody battle I am relieved to have found Reno. My relationship with my children is better now that I am getting equal time and with my ex as well- as Reno was direct and clear with terms of the parenting agreement. Paperwork was flawless and quick too- overall I am glad to be done but would hire Mr. Renzetti again in a heartbeat

I’m going to admit that neither myself or my ex - husband are easy to work with. I found Mr. Renzetti here on Thervo after working with two other attorneys. My case was contentious and neither myself or my ex could agree on custody and or parenting. I’m not proud to admit this but it is the truth. From my initial consultation Mr. Renzetti was full of ideas and approaches no one had thought of prior. He was literally the only person who successfully communicated with my ex’s Attorney. Through him I was finally able to settle and came out ahead- we have a parenting agreement that works for the entire family! Mr. Renzetti was also very respected by the judge and he was professional and worked fast to settle something that had taken me three years - I have already referred him to several co- workers and recommend him here too- he’s one of a kind!

    Frequently asked questions

To start, I offer free telephone consultation, followed by an in-person meeting if necessary.  Unlike other attorneys, I advise on all aspects of a potential client's case, and answer all questions, during this initial phone call.  After this initial phone call, I have enough information gathered to begin working on that person's case, when retained.

Besides my law degree, I am the product of divorced parents and, therefore, have the insight /first-hand knowledge of both the parents and the children during a divorce process.  Prior to law school, I worked in business, as a purchasing manager for many years -- and therefore bring my strong work ethic and dedication to customers, customer service, deadlines, and promptness to my practice of Law.

My pricing system includes a flat-fee option for those cases that may be uncontested, and a lower-than-some attorneys hourly rate.  In addition, whether the retainer is flat-fee or not, I offer very reasonable payment terms for the inital retainer.  Finally, unlike most attorneys, I do not require a constant replenishment of the retainer amount.  I trust my clients more than requiring that they always have positive monies in my account - and, instead, offer monthly payment plans moving forward after the initial retainer payment(s).

During my years of Law practice, I have represented the entire gamut of clients in either divorce, custody, child support or parentage cases -- from blue-collar workers, single parents, business owners, men, women, grandparents, professionals, parents attending school, stay-at-home parents, and parents currently looking for work, the younger parents, and retired spouses.  I am respectful, and connect well with every type of client.  The bottom-line is that ALL my clients get my detailed attention and strong advocacy for their positions and rights.

Whenever I can help a client with an uncontested divorce case, while always looking out for their interests, and finalizing the case in an efficient manner -- both cost and time-wise -- it gives me pleasure to show clients that all divorces need not be a knock-down-drag-out process.

My advice would be to be careful when hiring an attorney, as it relates to retainer payment and terms.  Some attorneys will quote a large retainer -- $3,000 to $5,000.00 -- then proceed to burn through your retainer, only to come to you with a requirement for replenishment of another $3,000 to $5,000 to stay in your case as your attorney.

In addition, clients must be aware that the divorce courts routinely allow an attorney to withdraw from your case if you are late with payment.  This is the reason I try to be reasonable with the setting of my retainer amount and my payment terms.  Everyone deserves representation in a divorce case, regardless of their economic status.

I think potential clients should avoid attorneys that will not speak with them at length on the telephone.  Anyone that does not value your business enough to discuss your case in great detail is -- in my opinion -- someone to avoid hiring as your attorney.
