I use an emotion focused approach. I help a couple to feel safe to open up and be themselves in the relationship. Each one learns to understand and express their underlying wants and needs as well as how to listen and meet the needs of their partner. This helps each individual as well as the relationship to heal and grow. The goal is to build a close and caring bond that restores passion and connection.
I am energized by seeing couples connect in ways they were not able to before, seeing couples heal. I am passionate about my work. I believe in hope and share that with my clients.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology specializing in Mental Health from the University of Illinois and my Master of Arts Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Wheaton College.

How did you get started in this business?
I became aware that while there are many couples counselors around many do not understand or know how to help couples with serious issues reconnect, heal and grow.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with individuals and couples, as well as parents and their children, including special needs children. My clients have communication, mood, addiction, infidelity and/or eating disorder challenges. My clients range from dating to 50+ years of marriage.
