About this pro

We focus  on the need for all people to be emotionally, physically, and spiritually healthy to the best of their ability.

To that end, our sensitivity to others, our passion for what we do, and our personal and professional experience come together for the optimum environment for stabilization and healing when people are hurting or in need of help.

Over two decades of mental health experience informs what I do and my nursing degree enables me to provide information as needed for those with medical issues.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Seated in my comfy office, I will invite you to tell me what you need from our first visit.  I take notes during the first visit and your story will unfold naturally during that process.  I invite questions about the process as we proceed, and will check with you to make sure I'm "getting it".  By the end of the first visit, my clients typically feel comfortable, understood, and hopeful.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

My training as both an RN and a counselor comes together to inform my understanding, along with my decades of experience.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

My fees are posted on the consent that we discuss on the first visit.

How did you get started in this business?

My work as a psychiatric RN drew me to the study of psychology.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with adults, couples, and lots of adolescents with various issues of depression, anxiety, changing circumstances and relationship problems.  I draw on decades of experience to formulate the client/counselor relationship that emerges.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Getting a puppy that has become an important part of my life!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Allow yourself to "feel" whether you think the person you're talking to has compassion, understanding, and empathic concern along with professional knowledge and experience.
