Helping people navigate through the most difficult times in their lives. Going through a divorce and/or being charged with a crime, can be very terrifying, and most people are lost at the beginning. I enjoy working with people to resolve their legal issues, and making them feel reassured during the process.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first conduct a phone or in-person consultation, where I listen to the person's details of their legal issue. I then explain the legal process and my rates, and then forward my attorney/client agreement to them for review and signature. Once payment is made, I begin working towards an efficient and satisfactory outcome for my client.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated UW-Madison with a BA in Political Science in 2002, and went on to Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude in December 2005. I have been working as a family and criminal law attorney in Illinois since June, 2006. I opened my own firm in May, 2008, and have been representing clients in the Southwestern suburbs for 10 years. I am also licensed in the State of Wisconsin, serving the Southeastern counties since 2011.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Family law cases are handled using a retainer payment, while criminal and traffic offenses are usually flat fee, or hourly rates.
How did you get started in this business?
I graduated law school in 2005, and begain working in June, 2006 in the area of family and criminal/traffic law. I worked for two reputable, and well known family and criminal law firms in the area for my first 2 years of practice, before opening my own firm in 2008.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Anyone in need of legal assistance with family and/or criminal/traffic matters in Northwest Illinois and Southwest Wisconsin
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Contact more than 1 attorney and make sure you feel comfortable talking with them. The attorney/client relationship is very personal and sacred, and you, as the client, need to trust your attorney, and the work they do for you.
