FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

During an initial free telephone conference, we discuss the circumstances for the client needing our services.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

University of Illinois, B.S. in Finance, High Honors, 1979

I.I.T./Chicago Kent College of Law, J.D., 1982

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

All of our work is performed on a contingent fee basis.  That means that we do not get paid until the end of the case.  If we fail to make any recovery then the client does not owe us anything for our services.

How did you get started in this business?

Out of my passion to assist people in maneurvering the complexities of the Court system.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with a broad range of clients ranging from important professionals in the community to persons unemployed or working unskilled labor jobs.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I recently donated a guitar that I had owned for 47 years to a school that had its musical instruments stolen from them.  I also arranged a presentation involving a concert by a famous Blues musician for the school assembly when I made the presentation.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Make certain that the law firm that you are hiring will perform the services that you need rather than referring you to someone else and then taking a referral fee.
