About
At age 59, I have a good deal of life experience, and I have helped in the successful raising of 7 children (6 step-children) and 1 daughter of my own.
As the 2nd of 6 brothers (no sisters), I am what is known as the "bridge child" in the family - linking together my siblings via a continuous negotiated truce methodology throughout my lifetime.
In addition, I have worked with 6 sisters-in-law in helping out marriages - just in my family (let alone my immediate family).
Through work with a group called SMART Recovery, I have learned to counsel men and women of all ages using the tenants of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
Not only does CBT guide people to escape addictions, it can guide almost ANY (and EVERY) decision making situation.
Helping others and seeing the "light bulb" come on when they first UNDERSTAND how to think differently and for the betterment of their own, personal situations.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Get to know the person by having the person tell me about them and what troubles them the most.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I had an addiction issue from which I have recovered, and in the process I have been trained in both the methodologies of AA (my issue was not with alcohol nor drugs) and CBT through www.SMARTRecovery.org
Having counseled people since 2007, taken negotiating skills courses, and with coursework in ethics, I feel uniquely qualified to assist others in finding their BEST path through the "jungle which is life."
