Ufyle.com is a non-attorney service staffed exclusively by experienced and knowledgeable paralegals. We have successfully assisted hundreds of divorce and bankruptcy clients with their document preparation, legal research, pre-litigation preparation and other document needs. We also assist individuals with real estate transactions.

Our service is not for everyone. 99% of the people we help never see the inside of a cour room, except bankruptcy cases because they must talk to the trustee about their finances. If you can talk to us about your finances but not the trustee this service is not for you. You may be ready to save but not ready to speak for yourself and that is understandable.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We speak with the customer to make sure the customer understands our service model and that we can help. The customer is booked an appointment and we begin the process. All of our paralegals are certified professionals. We have prior law firm experience or have years of experience in various areas of the law.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

Our pricing system is based is not based upon the same charging process used by attorneys. Attorneys and law firms bill customers based upon a retainer and hourly rate system. Even the ones that are adopting our flat rate model continue to overcharge. Ufyle, LLC has been in business for 10 years and because of our ability to use technology to reduce the cost to the consumer this has begun to change the way attorneys and law firms think about pricing. With technology and AI powered software the days of drafting legal pleading on an individual case by case is a costly and outdated way to do business.

How did you get started in this business?

Ufyle, LLC was started because the founder was going through a divorce and bankruptcy after the divorce, and the fees that were charged for an uncontested divorce, no children or assets was thousands, and this was the case with the bankruptcy as well 12 years ago. So Ufyle, LLC was born and the mission remains the same. Provide great quality service with exceptional customer support at an affordable price.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have worked with business owners with complex assets, pensions, and children on through to teachers, law enforcement personnel, military officers and all other people that are looking for great service that will not waste their money on needless billable attorney hours.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Conduct your own research. Compare prices and services. Ask about how the retainer works, if hiring an attorney, and if using a similar service as ours consider their experience and whether they provide only documents or ongoing support if their documents are rejected by the court. The Ufyle service model is new and some of our customers were hesitant but were satisfied and very thankful in the end.

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

In a bankruptcy or uncontested divorce the process is relatively straightforward. The parties agree on the issue or the debt to be eliminated so the question should be how much I am willing to pay. On contested divorce matters they should consider how much am I willing to pay, how long does it take for my documents to be prepared, what if I run out of money along the way what happens to my case? What does the retainer cover, what is the attorneys hourly rate? What is the attorney's paralegal hourly rate? What do I get billed for? How does your billing system work? Ask for a step-by-step explanation of the likely path of your case, and what are ways you can save money. There are some cases that will require the assistance of an attorney, and when it does you can turn to us for our attorney pre-hire cost mitigation serve to get you setup to save you money on the things that will run up your billable hours.
