I take a great appreciation when client begin their counseling process. It is not an easy process and it can be difficult to start. With that in mind, I accept all clients as their individual true self and I enjoy helping clients reach their potential. Life can be difficult when faced with traumatic events, PTSD, heartache, family struggles, etc. and I work diligently with clients to help them assess these struggles, develop resolutions and utilize coping skills without compromising the client's sense of self.
I most enjoy helping clients reach their treatment goals, become their ideal self and/or find balance in their life. Working with issues from depression to psychotic disorders, I have gained great experience and knowledge in identifying strategies that work well with clients. I make sure to tailor these strategies to each client's needs, as everyone is different so no one method will be successful for everyone. I am able to provide a safe and private space for clients to discuss their concerns in their own way.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With new clients, I provide a questionnaire and client information form to complete prior to the first session that I am to get a better understanding of their needs. While in sessions, I maintain client-counselor confidentiality and inform clients of exceptions to their confidentiality. My approach is focused on developing healthy coping skills to manage current stressors and assist clients with restructuring their thoughts to lead to improved mood and behaviors.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors in Psychology and Masters in Clinicial Mental Health Counseling. I am also trained by the Beck Institute for CBT and Depression. I am currently licensed in the state of Georgia as Associate Professional Counselor.

My standard price for each session is $75.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with clients ranging from adolescent to adult. Some issues that I focus in are depression, anxiety, life stress, family issues, career support, mood disorders and psychotic disorders.
