We are a boutique law firm that works with small and start-up businesses by saving them time and money, and helping them to avoid liabilities and protect their assets. For our business clients we offer a general counsel service that allows clients to receive free phone consultations all year long, subject to limitations and restrictions, for only $249 per year. Because owning a business means you have a lot more to plan for personally, we also offer estate planning and business succession planning to help you make sure you take care of your loved ones!!!
Business are goverened by a tremendous number of laws and regulations covering all different aspects of your business. So, in addition to the challenges of creating a successful, profitable business, business owners have to constantly deal with knowing and understanding the laws that regulate their business. Having represented thousands of small business over the past 22+ years, handling just about every issue imaginable, I enjoy being a resource for my clients and a sounding board to help them make better business decisions that will help them grow their business.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to meet new clients face-to-face but we know time is precious and we try to make things as convenient as possible, which means that we will do work over the phone, by text and email.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from SUNY College at Buffalo in 1992 with a BS in Business Studies while working full time at a law firm. I obtained my JD from University of Akron School of Law in 1996 with a concentration on business and taxation while working for a law firm that handled workers compensation and social security disability claims. I was admitted to the Florida Bar in September 1996. Since 1996 I have primarily been a sole practitioner having handled just about everything a small business attorney could face.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I try to charge for services based on a flat fee so clients know what the cost will be before we start. I have a list of fees for services typically handled. Otherwise, I charge for my time at an hourly rate based upon the time a service takes me to perform.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure they have experience!!!! There is no greater teacher than experience and there is no place that it is more important than business. I have seen and handled more issues than most business attorneys and I am always learning new things. Make sure your business attorney has the knowledge and experience you need.
