I've been a CPA for 36 years specializing in coordinating the accounting, financial statements, financing, Federal & state tax planning, tax preparation, filing & IRS issues. For my business clients that means effectively acting as an outsourced CFO as all of those disciplines must be integrated to produce the smallest tax liability possible and to stay compliant with the ever increasing laws and regulations.

Most tax pros do a good job of putting the right numbers in the right boxes on the right forms but then they call it a day - that is tax compliance. I don’t just prepare tax returns, I focus on coordinating businesses and their owner's tax positions with a whole lineup of deductions, credits, loopholes, and strategies - that is tax planning. It is billed on a value basis. I do not offer a tax plan if you would not receive at least double my fee in tax savings.

I also provide monthly, fixed rate accounting (I am a QuickBooks ProAdvisor) and payroll services. I never charge clients for the quick email or phone call question. I am on Madeira Beach and have clients from Lutz to Chicago so working virtually with onsite visits, as needed, is my norm.

Most enjoyable is becoming real friends with my clients. Legitimately reducing my clients' taxes to the legal minimum and, especially lately, helping them stay in business with PPP and SBA loans versus helping them increase the bottom line. We hope to get back to that latter as soon as possible!
