ADR Mediation Center, LLC
About
Since 2006, I have been specializing in helping couples get through the entire divorce process without having to engage attorneys. For several years, I also have been training other mediators to understand the concerns of people in a divorce when they do not want attorneys involved. I believe my 35+ years as a licensed therapist helps me to be able to identify and address the concerns of each individual involved, versus merely pushing forward with what the law requires in a divorce. This supports both poeple coming to a mutual agreement as to division of assets and liabilities, and determining child or spousal support when at issue.
My background as a licensed therapist naturally led me to mediation as an extension of fostering communication between couples, and supporting each in getting their needs met, and avoiding needless aggrivation and legal battles. The consequences of a divorce by mediation allows poeple to remain on good terms as no one "is taken to the cleaners" or ripped apart in court. This is critically important when there are children involved, as parents need to be able to communicate with each other about the kids, and to let the children be able to share their special days with both their parents for many years to come.
