The Law Office Of Vanessa Jaleh Bravo, P.A.
About
Having been involved in an active and engaging appellate and litigation practice, concentrating heavily on foreclosure defense and commercial litigation, since 2009, I possess the skill set to actively manage a litigation portfolio through all stages, from determining all possible causes of actions and theories of recovery when filing suit, formulating creative defenses and discovery tactics, identifying opportune moments and avenues for settlement, taking a case to trial, preparing any necessary appeals, and pursuing post-judgment collection efforts, as well as collection defense. I combine a love for the letter of the law, and equal passions for legal writing and analysis.
My areas of expertise include commercial litigation, appellate law, lien foreclosure and real property law, bankruptcy, and landlord/tenant law, and I am especially experienced at defense work within these areas. I am accustomed to managing a caseload of hundreds of cases and have handled over a thousand residential and commercial foreclosure cases. My extensive experience as a litigator and appellate attorney has solidified my ability to craft novel legal theories and defenses, draw inferences from evidence or the lack thereof, distinguish unfavorable facts, write and orally present persuasive legal arguments, and explain complex facts, argument, and law in the simplest of ways for clients, staff, and judges. I have several years experience in developing strong client relationships and maintaining effective client communication, and similarly in-depth experience in training and working with paralegals and other staff members as a cohesive team, having taught many the tenets of good legal writing, how to draft motions and numerous other legal documents, the correlation between the rules of procedure and applicable law, and how to plan and forecast necessary steps in appellate and lower court litigation.
