What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We need to do an intake first to confirm that there are no conflict issues and to ensure that we can best serve a prospective client's needs. We then want to find out all of the facts about what happened so we can help the client the best.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All lawyers at the law firm have been practicing for a while. Ms. Mayersohn went to UCLA and then University of Florida for law school. Her associates went to a good law schools as well and have a wide range of experience practicing law.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We will hourly for our time. The retainer requested up fron depends on the amount of hours required for the individual facts of a case and the amount of litigation anticipated. Upon exhaustion of the initial retainer, new retainers will be required as a case progresses, if applicable.
How did you get started in this business?
Ms. Mayersohn started the law firm in 2000 after working for the Broward County State Attorney's Office as a prosecutor.
What types of customers have you worked with?
The Firm has handled a wide variety of clientele from individuals to large corporations.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Look at a variety of factors such as the educational and experience level of the law firm and lawyer handling your case to ascertain who you are most comfortable working with.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Clients should be able to succinctly recite the facts of their case.
