Welcome to The Traveling Therapist LLC! We are a dedicated mental health and psychiatry practice offering compassionate, comprehensive care across Southwest Florida and statewide via Telehealth.
Our multi-disciplinary team provides both talk therapy and specialized psychiatry/medication management for individuals aged 6 and older.We believe that exceptional care should be accessible and affordable, which is why we accept most health insurances.
Whether you visit our Cape Coral or Fort Myers clinics or see us online, we offer bilingual services in English and Spanish to ensure everyone in our community feels heard and never judged.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The customer contacts us for an appointment, we ask for basic demographic information, create the profile, and email the paperwork which they can complete in English or Spanish through their phone/computer or tablet. Once we have the paperwork they are assigned to a Therapist and scheduled. Most Clients are seen within 7 days of initial call, if there is an urgent need, they can be seen sooner.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our therapists range from Master's Level Interns with experience in direct care of Clients, to Licensed Clinicians. All of the Therapists have at least 3 years of experience working with Clients and the majority are certified in specialized fields, like Trauma, CBT, Addiction etc.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We accept most insurances except for BCBS and straight Medicaid. Our cash prices range from $60 to $100 and it is based on where the service is provided, meaning if we have to drive to a location and how many people are being serviced. We see Individuals, couples and families.
How did you get started in this business?
I founded The Traveling Therapist after suffering the loss of my father to cancer. Prior to founded the Traveling Therapist I had experience in the field of mental health through Hospice, Dialysis and individual counseling in private practice.
What types of customers have you worked with?
The Therapists that we work with in my practice, cover from children ages 6 to adults over 100.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Just a few minutes ago, I had the pleasure of letting a Client know that she succesfully completed her Treatment Goals, she was happy and very proud of herself. I told her I'm seriously considering making Certificates lol. Its the best feeling.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
The Client should keep in mind, what goals they want to accomplish through Therapy.
Are they looking for a specific type of Therapist (age, experience etc.)
The Client should also consider what is a realistic frequency of visits, can they make it for the weekly visits or is it better to shoot for every other week.
