About

The most basic human need is our desire to be heard and understood. I provide a safe, non-judgmental, and empathic space where you can explore your own thoughts and feelings and feel heard and understood. I actively listen and assist you to raise awareness of conscious, and unconscious processes and how they impact your relationships with yourself and others. I offer the opportunity for you to explore your concerns while learning healthy and effective ways to cope with intense feelings, resolve problems, and care for yourself.

I believe that everyone deserves to feel fulfilled in all areas of their life and that we are all equal and should be treated as such. I enjoy being part of the process working with you, as a team, to acheive your goals.

I actively listen and assist you to raise awareness of conscious, and subconscious processes and how they impact your relationships with with others and yourself.  I offer the opportunity for you to explore your concerns while learning healthy and effective ways to cope with intense feelings, resolve problems, and care for yourself.  I use an eclectic mix of therapeutic approaches tailored specifically for you.  Evidence shows the quality of the patient-therapist relationship plays the most important role in the ultimate outcome of your therapy.  I am committed to giving you the highest quality of care that best suits your needs.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and an Integrated Nutrition Health Coach.  I have a Master of Social Work and have been in the field over 26 years and had continuous training throughout that time.  I also have a Certification in Health Coaching.

My fees are $225 a session.

I have been practicing for over 26 years.

I specialize in working with adults and seniors with self-esteem issues, emotional eating issues, anxiety, depression, drug abuse/addiction and early recovery support, gay and lesbian issues, stress management, ethical non monogamy, and grief and mourning support.

Choosing a therapist can feel overwhelming. To get started, let’s set up a free, 15- minute introductory consultation. Did you know that the quality of your relationship with your therapist plays a more important role in the ultimate outcome of your therapy than by the therapist’s theoretical approach? It’s true, and there’s a lot of research and evidence to back it up. That is why I suggest speaking with a few therapists before deciding who feels right for you.

Ask if the therapist has experience working with someone who has similiar issues.
