Lauren Rothstein, LCSW,P.A.
About
The most basic human need is our desire to be heard and understood. I provide a safe, non-judgmental, and empathic space where you can explore your own thoughts and feelings and feel heard and understood. I actively listen and assist you to raise awareness of conscious, and unconscious processes and how they impact your relationships with yourself and others. I offer the opportunity for you to explore your concerns while learning healthy and effective ways to cope with intense feelings, resolve problems, and care for yourself.
I believe that everyone deserves to feel fulfilled in all areas of their life and that we are all equal and should be treated as such. I enjoy being part of the process working with you, as a team, to acheive your goals.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Choosing a therapist can feel overwhelming. To get started, let’s set up a free, 15- minute introductory consultation. Did you know that the quality of your relationship with your therapist plays a more important role in the ultimate outcome of your therapy than by the therapist’s theoretical approach? It’s true, and there’s a lot of research and evidence to back it up. That is why I suggest speaking with a few therapists before deciding who feels right for you.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Ask if the therapist has experience working with someone who has similiar issues.
