About
Pastoral Counseling differs from other types of counseling in that it openly recognizes the significance and importance of the Spiritual dimension in your life. Other options are known to see spiritual beliefs as a conflict to mental health. I believe that Spiritual belief is a sign of growth and maturity in our lives.
I have had 8 years of professional study and graduated with both a Bachelor's in Biblical Studies and a Master's in Pastoral Counseling. I was an underground missionary overseas for 4.5 years and I am the Care Team leader at my church.
My usual goal is to treat mind, body, and soul with the objective being for you to reach healthy balances in your life, your relationships, and your family. I use only proven methods while incorporating both spiritual wellness and mental health support to foster wholeness, healing, and total growth. I also have access to great referral doctors when necessary and excellent resources to help with various other matters that tend to crop up through life's journey.
Once we meet, we can work together to come up with a care plan as well as an ongoing list of personal and relationship goals and even chart progress being made along the way if you wish.
In conjunction with meeting with you, I can also be available for consultation by phone or text as needed to offer you my guidance and assistance on the spot. I will work diligently to get you to your next goal step by step as smoothly as possible with the objective being for everyone to eventually stand confidently on a firmer foundation.
I have several different price tiers and options including for sessions in my office in Longwood.
Leave me your number in your request and I will be sure to give you a call. I look forward to hearing from you.
When I was a child whenever I would get that question about what kind of superhero I would want to be, I always said that I wanted to be a healer. I couldn't stand to see people hurting.
Emotional pain can be devastating at times because it can drastically change not only our lives but the lives of those around us as well. This is what I want to help people with. I want to be able to help them change their marriages, their families, and those around them by instilling better relationship habits such as; communication, boundaries, and understanding.
One of my favorite moments with clients is when people finally get past the awkwardness of change and they reach that point where they truly get it and things really start working for them and their prayers are answered for them. I am just overjoyed that I was able to be part of that. There's nothing better! Wanting to really help others has never been a job to me, it's always been my dream.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process when beginning a new client relationship is to have a complimentary 15-20 minute session to briefly discuss the main issues that brought them to my office. This complimentary session is to determine if we are a good match. This complimentary session can be immediately followed by your intake session if time permits or we can reschedule.
The intake session involves the sharing of more pertinent details that may assist in your success. Additionally, I always prefer to meet face to face even if it's online because it's more personal and I can utilize a wider array of my counseling skills when I am able to see everyone in the room.
